Heidi Harman, D.D.S., M.S. - Providing outstanding orthodontics in the greater Kansas City area.
Dr. Heidi Harman, a Nebraska native, has been a certified orthodontist since 1988. She completed her undergraduate curriculum at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Harman received her Doctor of Dental Surgery with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Her masters degree was conferred in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD/TMJ) study and her certificate of specialization in orthodontics was received from the University of Iowa.
Dr. Harman spent several years as a hospital resident and staff fellow at the University of Iowa's Hospital and Clinics with the Cleft Palate Clinic, the Temporomandibular Dysfunction Clinic, hospital dental and medical clinics. During this time she was awarded a research grant by the American Association of Orthodontics to continue her TMJ study. She has published several relevant scientific articles and is a member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Kansas Dental Association and Fifth District Dental Society.
Dr. Harman maintains orthodontic private practice in the greater Kansas City area with offices in Overland Park and Olathe, Kansas. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, her lake getaway, boating, maintaining physical fitness training, culinary adventures, and her 2 Italian Greyhounds, Guido and Dolce.
